Today we have a small product launch of a very important wax – the Dodo Juice Carnauba Cream Egg, launched in association with Detailing World. This is a special Limited Edition wax for Easter, with a 20 GBP donation being made in aid of Sebastian’s Action Trust (a UK charity supporting the families of ill children) for every wax sold. THE IDEA
Bill (Whizzer), from Detailing World, approached us last year to see if we could help create a charity product for Sebastian’s Action Trust. Because Easter was approaching and we had been tempted to create a ‘wax within a wax’ before, we thought that an ‘Easter Egg’ theme wax might work well. It has also been inspired by a chocolate egg sold in the UK market. We were certain that Sebastian would have liked chocolate and therefore have given his thumbs up to our fund raising exercise
THE WAX
The wax itself is actually two waxes. A traditional carnauba soft wax (the white part) with a yellow hybrid wax semi-synthetic wax ‘yolk’ in the middle. These waxes can be mixed upon application, or carefully applied separately. We are certain that no-one has created a ‘wax within a wax’ before now.
Due to the complexity of pouring these waxes, they are a strict limited edition of 274 jars (100ml size). 274 refers to the number of days that the Sebastian’s Action Trust family support holiday home (called The Bluebells) has been open, up until Easter Sunday this year.
In performance terms, the white wax will be similar to Light Fantastic (2-3 months max longevity approx) and the yellow hybrid yolk will be similar to Supernatural Hybrid (4-6 months max longevity approx).
Price of the wax will be 39.95 GBP RRP for 100ml, with 20 GBP of this going to Sebastian's Action Trust. So we aim to raise over 5500 GBP when they have all sold.
Please note that numbers cannot be chosen and numbers 1 and 274 are going to be auctioned off on Detailing World separately. So 272 jars remain available for purchase. These will be sold via Dodo Juice resellers who take stock. It will be available worldwide.

Also, remember that every wax is hand poured and the yolk is a particularly tricky pour. So some are a fraction 'neater' than others. But all are full of Dodo wax/hybrid goodness.

Finally, I'd personally like to thank Bill at DW, Sue at Sebastian's Action Trust, Sian at our labellers (they hand delivered individually numbered foil labels in record time) and pj and the rest of the guys here for doing a great job. This is no easy wax to make. We hope Sebastian would have liked it.
