@abezyana: het is een hardwax ( de purple haze is de softwas versie ) en daarom zal je niet zo makkelijk kunnen 'dippen' met je padje in de wax.
Het grote voordeel is juist dat je dan niet teveel wax pakt, even met het padje beetje draaien/freubelen zodat ie wat zachter wordt en er net genoeg op je applicator achterblijft.
Deze kan aanbregen op de lak en gaan als een speer
Heb je een hele boterzachte wax en je dipt .... voor je weet zit je aan de onderzijde van de pot en met een megakluit wax aan je pad waar je 'niks' mee kunt.
Wellicht helpt dit om de achterliggende gedachte van een hardwax wat duidelijker te maken en je de volgende keer een extra handvat te geven

Mooi tijdstip, ben net door mijn bandendressing heen dus ga die Supernatural Tyre Dressing in het lijstje zetten ipv de Bold n Bright.
Net als Gideon ook erg benieuwd naar de Supernatural Acrylic Spritz, zou dit een beetje te vergelijken zijn met iets zoals de Reload ?

LOW ON EAU. This is our rinseless wash, brought out to beat the hosepipe ban where it still exists in the UK and for those customers who live in flats (without their own outside tap) or for showgoers who need to spruce up their cars on-site. Optimum No Rinse (ONR) is the most famous competitor. Our version is a lubricious yellow liquid (smells of pineapple and apple) that cleans panels before they get buffed/dried to a high shine (so there is no rinse stage). Lubricants help prevent contamination scratching the car although we recommend it is used on lightly soiled vehicles only. The water behaviour due to these lubricating/glossing oils is pretty impressive… check out the water sheeting immediately after (although the irony is you may not have access to a hose!). Priced at 8.95 GBP RRP for 250ml and 16.95 GBP RRP for 500ml. Dilutes 1:200 (similar to ONR).
SUPERNATURAL CARNAUBA GLAZE. For those who want a natural quick detailer or glaze, we created this high carnauba solids spray. It is silicone-free and gently cleans a panel before leaving behind a layer of high grade carnauba wax. This won’t have the kind of durability/longevity of a spray sealant like Acrylic Spritz, but it won’t be far off Red Mist. A great glaze and quick detailer for cars that sport carnauba wax finishes. Priced at 14.95 GBP RRP for 500ml.
CAPTAIN CANOODLE SYNTHETIC MICRONOODLE WASH MITT. The natural wash mitts we do (Tribble, Wookies, Yeti) are 100% natural so can rot or moult if not perfectly maintained. This is our solution to the problem, instead of delisting or changing the spec of our natural mitts, we have gone completely synthetic and introduced a micro-noodle microfibre wash mitt, i.e. it has lots of noodles to create a deep and soft artificial pile. It can’t be killed easily, it’s soft and holds plenty of water. At 8.95 GBP RRP it’s also good value and cheaper than the natural mitts. Please note that this item is NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL LATE JUNE.
‘ALIEN’ CLOTHING RANGE. Hoodies and T-shirts in white, or tie-dye green, with a Dodo Juice logo on the front and alien artwork (courtesy of pj) on the back saying ‘Take me to your Detailer’ instead of the usual Dealer/Leader. SUPERNATURAL ACRYLIC SPRITZ. This is a spray sealant or ‘protection detailer’, like Red Mist – but it’s WATER based, so there’s no solvent to attack fresh wax layers and it’s a high-performance acrylic rather than a more traditional sealant recipe. Whilst Red Mist was giving about 4-6 weeks durability/longevity, the longevity of this can be measured in months… we reckon it is far closer to a normal liquid sealant, and offers perhaps 3-4 MONTHS of durability, maybe more. It won’t beat Supernatural Hybrid, but for a quick spray product it does amazingly well. Given the non-interference and relatively low price and this should be a great product for those wishing to apply a sealant layer to bodywork, trim or wheels (it suits almost all surfaces) or for those wishing to add an interim ‘top up’ layer of protection to their waxed/sealed vehicle. Priced at 12.95 GBP RRP for 250ml and 22.95 GBP RRP for 500ml.

Hmmm, die Low On Eau lijkt me wel geinig. Ik ben wel benieuwd waar je deze het best mee kunt gebruiken.
Ik heb Optimum No Rinse (zo te lezen de grote concurrent van dit produkt) gebruikt met een microvezelspons en daar lijkt het vuil niet van los te komen.
Optimum No Rinse wordt overigens veelal gebruikt met een (jazeker) voegenspons.
Die groene 'take me to your detailer' hoodie is gaaf. PJ had er vorig jaar eentje aan op de Summer Detail Day.

Bij de SSD heb ik de Lime Prime Lite meegenomen. Normaliter gebruikte ik altijd de "gewone" Lime prime, maar doordat deze geen schuurkorrels bevat wilde ik deze eens proberen.
Stappenplan (na het wassen en clayen) : polijsten met prof polish, deze afgenomen, lak even 5 minuten laten ademen en de lime prime lite op een zwarte pad icm de DAP900 op standje 1 ingewerkt.
Na 2 minuten wilde dit echter al niet meer van het behandelde deel af zo mega vast zat het. Je moest echt kracht zetten (en op sommige plekken zelfs met S&W erbij) om al het residu eraf te krijgen.
Ander stukje met de Lime Prime geprobeerd en die is na 2 minuten gewoon nog steeds easy on - easy off ?
Zit er nu zoveel verschil tussen deze 2 versies of doe ik iets verkeerd ?
Auto heeft overigens in de schaduw gestaan en de lak was niet warm.
