Moet inderdaad lukken.
Heb met een panel Purple Haze een V70 2x gedaan en er zit nog geschat 60% in het potje.
Een hard wax smeert zelfs nog zuiniger; uit de Blue Velvet en Supernatural panels is na 1 waslaag nog nauwelijks iets uit.
Maar ja, ik probeer het ook mierenn**kerig dun op te brengen.

Een warme wax (door je handen) trekt dieper in de lak dan een koude wax (dus op de pad). In theorie heeft hij dus gelijk, maar in de praktijk zal het verschil minimaal zijn. Wel werkt het iets zuiniger, en he je meer contact met je lak, waardoor je eventuele oneffenheden snel voelt.
Warme wax die "dieper" in de lak trekt? Nog nooit van gehoord, zeker nog nooit over gelezen; de hypothetische theorie erachter zal vast heel indrukwekkend zijn. Het is overigens toch niet de moeite waard om enige waarde te hechten aan een theorie die in de praktijk geen verschil zal brengen. :weetniet
Over het algemeen wordt met de hand opbrengen juist beschouwd als een minder zuinige manier van werken. Wel heb je inderdaad meer gevoel met je lak en vinden sommigen het een leukere ervaring.

IK reaguurde meer op het MIEREN**n, maar daar werd overheen gelezen:s en ik heb de panel potjes van Velvet en Haze en niet dat ik ielige vingers heb maar een pad krijg ik daar niet inGMToyota zei:Ik denk eerder een uitleg waarom je met je vingers meer glans zou krijgen dan met bijv. een pad. Want dat is natuurlijk niet het geval.

Just thought I'd share with you all a little taster of the new tyre dressing from the juice!
First impressions, it's like nothing thats been done before (as far as I know) Many would expect a liquid type dressing but no, this is Dodo Juice and as we all know they don't do things by the book :wink:
The donor tyre was from a Range Rover Sport, so not a small tester. I prepped it with a thorough scrub with a 1:1 mix of G101 to remove any left over dressing, dirt and anything that would make application any more difficult than it needed to be.
Leaving this...
Cracked open the pot... yes pot! and started to apply said dressing with one of my many SN finger mitts
Application itself was a doddle with just a dap of product going a fairly long way. It takes a little getting used to as it's a matt finish dressing and the urge to try and put more on to get a glossier finish takes over a little but no need, as more doesn't really add anything.
oh, and in usual Dodo style... it smells absolutely fruitalicious:
Whole tyre done finished with a quick buff up to leave this...
If your someone who likes a high gloss shine then this isn't the dressing for you but if your like me and prefer the natural look then I suggest you get your mitts on some as soon as comes available.
I get the impression it'll last quite well too as it sets completely dry and having sprayed a little water at it it beads like wax on paintwork which is a nice touch.
All in all another great product in the Dodo armoury
